An accurately remodeled » Clinical Mercury Thermometer « The advantage of this design: If the glass tube break in two, no mercury will get out of the mercury filled, very small capillary tube. One of the renderings shows the measured temperature of 38,5 °C. Another rendering shows the model, placed on "mm-Paper" and so you can see the approximate dimensions at a glance. The geometry of the glass tube is like a triangle with convex rounded edges. The upper rounding has a function like a lense of a magnifying glass and shows the mercury column in a way for an easy and reliable reading of the measured body temperature. The model is available in the following data formats: STEP-file (.stp) of the complete assembly and native files (.prt) and (.asm) in a "zipped" folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0« and later versions.
