The design is inspired by gears, and can be resized to a range of capacities from 100 ml upwards. The standard pump mechanism is used, but features a larger cap to provide a wider 'target area' when pressed. The gear like shape is also designed to 'mesh' with other soap dispensers of the same type, but different soaps can be identified with an interchangeable colour coded band that sits in a recess within the cap (Similar to the system used with electric toothbrush heads) The soap (and near empty level) can be seen via the lower section of the transparent bottle/container within the gear outer casing - which also provides a larger and more stable base. The outer casing could be manufactured as an injection moulding, cast resin or silicon rubber to facilitate grip and to protect surfaces (or feet) if accidently knocked over. An 'upmarket' alternative could be cast aluminium to reflect the engineering aesthetic - although bright anodised colours may transform/soften this aesthetic towards a 'flower type' version. I did think that two different sizes reminded me of Laurel and Hardy - with the catch phrase "That's another fine mesh you've got me into" !
