Belt conveyor system designed as part of a pilot-scale fertiliser plant project for handling a phosphate-based bulk material, with a nominal conveying capacity of approximately 2 tonnes per hour. The system was developed in SolidWorks, covering the mechanical design, 3D modelling of the main components and complete assembly. The project includes the mechanical components required for fabrication, together with detailed engineering drawings prepared to support manufacturing. The conveyor was designed with an adaptable configuration, allowing its length and conveying capacity to be adjusted to meet different process requirements, subject to the necessary mechanical design calculations and component sizing. The project demonstrates practical application of mechanical design, machine assembly, CAD modelling and manufacturing documentation for bulk material handling equipment.
