Two of the main important feature of the ventilator is the tunability of the rate and volume. Our design despite simplicity has these two main. There are a few complicated designs, but the beauty of our design is that it can be made without any 3D printer, milling machine, lathe machine, servo-motor programmer, or PC. Tools that are needed are a drill, hand-saw, and regular tools. The device completely can be made from off-the-shelf materials, and it took about 4 hours to assemble, plus the total cost is less than $60.
