Designed a Sun Hydraulics-based Counterbalance Valve Block for a hydraulic lifting cylinder application. The manifold integrates a pilot-operated counterbalance cartridge valve to provide load holding, controlled lowering, hose burst protection, and smooth actuator motion. The block was designed considering operating pressure, pilot ratio, flow capacity, and manifold manufacturability. Deliverables included hydraulic schematic, pressure calculations, manifold design, BOM, 2D manufacturing drawings, and 3D CAD model.
