This was my second attempt at a patio design for a very space restrictive condo courtyard. I wanted to make a pergola using all the standard stone and wood elements, but somehow mixing in galvanized metal tubing. Of course we couldn't build the thing because of silly condo association rules. There's a rule that you can't permanently place anything within 3 feet of your neighbor's property line. This was my attempt at a solution to that problem. I hope someone gets inspired by it.
