Crane hook block supporting a hand forged steel DIN hook with safety latch, constructed for weights of 8 tons (possible overload up to 10 tons, supported on a thrust ball bearing- 51217 traverse is made of C60E steel, and cast steel sheaves supported on dual ball bearings - 6308 that are lubricated through the axles using two grease nipples, covered in half open 4mm thick steel sheet shields for protection of the rope and sheaves and the steel rope to be used with this is 6x19 DIN 655, with a nominal diameter of 20mm.
