Creality Ender 3 Power Supply Silencer · 模型 1436

作者:Jimbo Jones

Made this in CATIA based on existing designs. This 3D printed part is made to cover the power supply fan of the Creality Ender 3. It reduces the fan noise and redirects the airflow towards the back of the machine (instead of the right side). The main differences between this model and the ones it was based on is the interior of the part. I've optimized the geometry of the guide vanes to reduce airflow restriction as much as I could. The vanes do not protrude over the fan exhaust holes that are punched into the power supply sheet metal wall. Also, I've added a cylinder in the middle of the fan exhaust as there is no air coming out in this area. This reduces air turbulence inside the silencer. I also lengthened the cover a bit compared to the original to further reduce noise. A word of advice for the installation. Remove only one screw at a time, otherwise the fan will fall into the power supply. The two sections where the screws go in are quite thin, this is to make sure you have enough thread on the existing screws to install the cover (no need for new screws!). I used supports for printing, but no raft and no brim. And I always use a skirt. Caution: There are two different types of power supply (maybe more) that can come with your Ender 3. This cover/silencer is for the earlier model. You should easily be able to tell if this will fit your printer just by looking at the screw hole pattern on your Ender 3. I've uploaded the gcode file for the Ender 3, as well as the STL file should you want to use another printer or different slicing parameters. You can also play around with the parts and modify it as much as you like, I've uploaded the actual CATIA part!
