We have developed a program to assist designers with file management. The program interfaces with Solid Edge, populates the title block, synchronizes metadata between the 3D model and the drawing, and manages and stores ten revision levels. Once the code is entered, the interface searches for the file across various pre-selected folders, creates links for quick access, and identifies any duplicate instances. When the file is saved, it automatically generates PDF, DXF, and STEP versions.
