CRUMPSAT is a concept of a cubesat all made from FDM technology available today that has made a revolution in the modern world,I choose the name of CRUMPSAT recognizing Scott Crump who was the one who started this revolution from the beginning. CRUMPSAT SPECS Material: ULTEM 1010 resin offers the highest heat resistance, chemical resistance and tensile strength of any FDM thermoplastic. It is the only FDM material with an NSF 51 food-contact certification, and it’s biocompatible with an ISO 10993/USP Class VI certification Body: I made a strong frame for this cubesat project utilizing the advantages that solidworks give to ensure the best product, without compromising the reliability and the structure I choose to reduce drastically the amount of material and give a lot of ribs to ensure a strong frame to protect all the interiors. utilizing SOLIDWORKS Simulations I was simulate forces up to extremely 2000lb i need to run several simulations and make a lot of changes to obtain the results that I have know. with a short deadline I wanted to make the three common models and I did it. CRUMPSAT Group 1U That has only 3 single parts that is one of the goals in mind. Has the Frame the end covers twice, only 4 socket head screws and the solar panels. 2U_3u has the same two end covers the frame for those configuration the same screws and an additional cadi frame that slice vertical into the frame like and a sub assembly armed with the pcbs as needed. I made this Model as simple that I could but design it strongest as I wanted always watching the integrity of the frame have in mind that this is a model for a real operational sat not for a 3d printed Toy.
