Just a preliminary concept of putting both mug/glass and lunch/dinner plate in a single attachment. This attachment has two degrees of freedom of rotation. I used felt bushing at both rotation points to damp out the oscillations which may spill the liquid in the mug and/or drops the plate off. I have used the crutch model curtesy of Dipesh Mathur, model of mug curtesy of Ashutosh Misra and model of plate curtesy of Winston Jennings. A zillion thanx to all of them. The total weight of the crutch with the attachment is about 2.3 Kg. Is it too heavy? Unbalanced, in terms of one light crutch and other one is heavy? I can crop some parts to reduce weight depending on the FEA analysis of stress. That would be the next part of my work if this model is considered as heavy. Components other than the nuts, bolts and washer, I guess, of attachment are 3D printable.
