This model has been adapted to make use of 3D printing. The model has been designed so there is no support material needed, using FDM additive manufacturing technology. I think this would be the best to use because of the simplicity of the parts, in the way I have split the main body shells. I have incorporated a novel way for the balls to run through the central 'axle'. The angle of the axle can be adjusted by means of the through M3 bolt; holding it fixed to the legs, so the balls would run more smoothly.
