Planetary differential for CXD "Mini" RC vehicles. Tooling: * sun & planet gears milled with 0.3mm square end mill w/ 1mm flute length (0.015" (0.38mm) should also work) * big gear milled with 0.5mm square end mill w/ 2mm flute length (will not cut exactly to roots of gear teeth but close enough). Photos show big gear cut from clear acrylic and internal gears cut from FR-2 (the cheap brown circuit board material). Not saying that's ideal/preferred, just what I've been using. Option: on the "cover" side, the "vanity spacer" works within the volume of the stock gear; the "prudent spacer" is more robust. Photos show "vanity spacer" (and clear material and cutaway axle case) because vanity photos. Photos show diff in a D12 Mini. Seems like it should work in any other CXD "Mini" that uses the same integrated motor/reduction/axle unit. Please don't panic about my open gearbox -- I made a snap-fit cover for it.
