Used to easily switch out wires for: digital inputs and outputs analog inputs and outputs line, neutral, and ground power connections AC and DC power connections Getting voltage in parallel to multiple devices with the use of a metal strip bus bar Other wiring connections The advantage of using this terminal block in you just need to strip your wires and insert them. With other similar DIN rail style blocks they require you to add an additional crimp style connector before inserting them for use. I wish this design of the top and bottom plastic bodies was simpler, it has lots of complicated contours. The lever needs improvement it can snap quickly and pinch fingers. The lever model was a bit difficult to model so it's my own variant of it.
