This 2 part DIY CNC Machinist Vise is designed be used on a 45mm grid of M6 holes (like those found on the Anolex CNC machines). The vise has a smooth stepped side and a griper step side (made with stacked hardened beveled washers) that can be moved up to the side of the work piece using the slots in the Moving jaw and then the vise can be tightened using the M8 flat head screws. The M8 flat head screw can shift the moving jaw by 2.5mm in either direction. The M8 flanged button head screws help to clamp the moving jaw top in place an also help to in ensure that the jaw top does not rise up while being tightened. As with all my designs this model was drawn in FreeCAD.
