I made a custom cover/enclosure for the LM2596 DC step-down module. The design has a bottom lid and the PCB slides into the container using a snap-fit system, so no screws are needed. The lid also snaps into place the same way. Just note that the snap-fit clips are a bit fragile, so they may need modification or reinforcement depending on how often the cover is opened.
