This modern spaceplane is magnitudes smaller than the Space Shuttle it is meant to replace, however that doesn't make Sierra Nevada's Tenacity a downgrade from the previous primary cargo vessel. The unmanned capabilities of this craft maximize the efficiency of deliveries satellites in orbit around Earth, with a cargo capacity of up to 5,500 kilograms. Its sleek lifting-body design isn't just for elegance, but allow this spaceplane to land on conventional runways from space while still maintaining an astounding reusability of up to 15 times. I suppose at this point my enthusiasm for this vehicle is obvious. I have been a huge fan of SNC and their work on the Dream Chaser project since before I entered High School, so when I saw a video posted to their YouTube channel in May of this year, I knew I had to recreate it. While the dimensions are not exact, I tried to create a faithful recreation of this spaceplane using the resources I had available, which was really only the video SNC posted and random renders of Tenacity I found online. Complete with movable ailerons and a door which opens up to the interior, I also wanted this project to be interactable. This model was made in Siemens NX Student Edition 2007, and attempting to load it in earlier versions does not work, so if you want to play around with it in its native development environment you will need this version or higher. Otherwise, the attached STL file should suffice for examination, however interacting with the moving parts is not possible sadly. The sheet bodies are quite complex, so they might cause some issues rendering.
