I love using my HandDremel in my workshop—it's my go-to tool for cleaning and milling (Fig.: D). One of the best things about its design is the ability to swap out the motor without soldering, making it super convenient for repairs and upgrades. Recently, the adapter connecting the motor to the bit holder broke (Fig.: B). Instead of just replacing it, I saw an opportunity to design a better version! Improvements & Features: ✅ No need for the original building spring (Fig.: B)—the bit holder already has an internal spring. ✅ Direct thread engagement—the adapter securely grabs the thread of the bit holder (Fig.: A.4) and efficiently transfers power to the brushed motor (Fig.: A.3). ✅ Integrated cooling—the adapter also drives the fan blades, keeping the motor cool during use. ✅ Noise-optimized design—I tested different fan blade configurations, and this one produced the least noise. ✅ Easy to print—the adapter can be printed without any supports!
