The model has no practical use, it is a recreation of a drawing from my college days. I was experimenting with the 2D to 3D tools from Autodesk Labs. This simple conversion was about a dozen or so clicks, a total of 5 minutes including the screenshot. If you are doing a lot of 2D conversions I would recommend trying this add-in.
