This is a design for a Sony E-Mount adaptor for M42x0.75 (T2) Female threads. This thread size has widespread use in astrophotography and is commonly known as a 'T2' thread. This is not to be confused with an 'M42' thread which has a 1mm pitch rather than the 0.75mm pitch of the T2.
