BEng Mechanical Engineering with Renewables honours project. After fully disassembling a real Hyllux electric scooter, I created a complete parametric 69-part assembly in SolidWorks using advanced techniques: 3D sketches, surface modelling, lofted/boundary features, shell, wrap, and sweep cuts. Leveraging the SolidWorks Sustainability Module (GaBi database, CML method), I performed a full cradle-to-grave Life Cycle Assessment covering material extraction, manufacturing, use phase, transportation, and end-of-life. Identified key environmental hotspots and ran iterative optimisations (material swaps, manufacturing regions, recycling rates).
