eCVT Toyota Prius 2004 - 2009 This CAD model represents the eCVT (electronic continuously variable transmission) of the Toyota Prius. Developed by Toyota, this power coupling mechanism is integral to the hybrid powertrain of their vehicles. It effectively combines power from the internal combustion engine and two electric motors. The system operates as a basic power coupling, with one of the electric motors serving dual roles as both a starter motor for the engine and a generator to recharge the battery. The engine primarily drives the generator, while the main electric motor powers the vehicle. I plan to add more details to this CAD model and possibly design the rest of the power transmission system. Due to the large file size, I have uploaded a version of the model that includes only the external surfaces.
