This part is a 3d printeble part that prevent the gate lock of the Edelrid bulletproof HMS to be opened in a unlikely event that the carabiner is bumped in exactly the right spot. p.s. Always good practice to face the gate away from your belay side, this puls the belay device to the inside of the carabiner for my self i made a red mark on one side. when this is facing up. the the gate is at the "wrong" side.
