This was an entry for a competition to design a housing unit for displaced people that can be easily set up and use environmentally friendly and local materials. My approach was to use steel frames for the house and use plastic panels that would be made from recycled plastic to make the walls. The basic furniture which includes a bed frame, chair and table would be made out of plastic lumber which can be obtained from recycled plastic. The competition is over now and sadly I didn't win but it was a good experience for me.
