Design and modelling exercise. PTC Creo 2.0 Academic Version. Work in progress. Incremental updates, revisions and uploads as the design evolves. General Note: I didn't have any part dimension references so I've had to design everything from imagination and conjecture as I went. Consequently, most of the parts are not compliant with any standards or engine design "best practices". The belt pitches are non-standard as well. It is a learning process at this stage. All renderings are executed with Luxion Keyshot 4.2 Educational Edition unless noted otherwise. Revisions: 11/06/2013 - Updates and file maintenance on renderings in progress. Overall revisions on the engine. Updated and revised part files to follow. 11/06/2013 - Uploaded the complete Engine Short Block & Cylinder Head Groups which contain revised parts. Because of the large size of this project, I have deleted all of the previous files along with other file formats (STEP, etc.) and will only maintain Creo 2.0 files . I apologize for any inconvenience. Future revisions will utilize GRABCAD's "V" (V1, V2, V3, etc.) levels. I have also uploaded the Induction Group - Normally Aspirated & Exhaust Group - Normally Aspirated. All updated individual parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies are in their respective folders. 11/07/2013 - Decided to update and add parts to the main lobby These updated parts are the same as those that are already in the assembly and sub-assembly folders even though the "V" level's don't match. Evidently, GRABCAD's system doesn't sync the lobby and the folders automatically. Uploaded additional renderings. 11/08/2013 - Uploaded various cross section renderings. 11/10/2013 - Updated main view rendering. Added "General Note" to description. 11/15/2013 - Uploaded complete engine project as ZIP file. 06/28/2014 - Uploaded complete STEP files. 06/29/2014 - Uploaded Autodesk INVENTOR PRO files (compressed) & STEP (compressed) files.
