Exhaust Manifold (Multi-Branch Header) | 3D CAD Modeling (Creo) · 模型 50552
Designed an exhaust manifold (multi-branch header) using PTC Creo, focusing on smooth flow paths, structural integrity, and manufacturability. This component is used in engine systems to collect exhaust gases from multiple cylinders into a single outlet. The design features multiple curved runners merging into a central collector, along with a mounting flange for engine connection. Advanced CAD techniques such as sweep modeling and surface blending were used to create smooth, continuous pipe transitions, minimizing flow resistance and turbulence. The flange geometry includes accurately patterned bolt holes to ensure proper alignment with engine mounting points. Special attention was given to the merging region (collector), ensuring smooth junctions and reduced stress concentration. The model maintains consistent wall thickness and clean curvature, making it suitable for manufacturing processes such as casting or fabrication. The design is fully parametric, allowing easy modification of runner length, diameter, and flange configuration. A well-structured feature tree ensures flexibility for future design changes. This project demonstrates strong expertise in complex geometry modeling, automotive components, and fluid flow-oriented design.
