Equipped with sixteen 1/2" NPT hubs, this NEMA 4X rated explosion proof enclosure is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPL-AEB-10.10.6-12X0.5 explosion proof enclosure is made of copper-free aluminum and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4X protection rating. The internal cavity of this flameproof enclosure measures 10" in length by 10" in width by 6" in height. This unit caters to a maximum of 9 operators on the lid (3 rows of 3 = 9) and a maximum conduit size of 3". Equipped with a bolted cover, the grey explosion proof accessory is compatible with surface-mount applications. The explosion proof enclosure is designed for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups B,C,D); Class I, Zones 1 & 2 (Groups IIB+H2,IIA); Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups E,F,G) and Class III rated combustible sites. The NEMA 4X rating makes the unit suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, as well as ensures protection from water, dust, moisture, dirt and external ice formation. A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure can be provided at an additional cost. Hubs: The EPL-AEB-10.10.6-12X0.5 contains a total of sixteen 1/2" NPT hubs. Four 1/2" NPT hubs are located on the north side, four 1/2" NPT hubs are located on the south side, four 1/2" NPT hubs are located on the west side and four 1/2" NPT hubs are located on the east side of the explosion proof enclosure. Suggested Applications: Manufacturing, Industrial, Warehouse, Lighting Systems, Oil and Gas, Marine Sites, Textile, Food Processing, Chemical Storage, Wet areas or Locations Where Combustible Dust is Present.
