Extruded tetrahedral lattice composed of a series of nested, geometrically mutually resembling tetrahedral frames arranged concentrically each inside its next larger facsimile, connected to its respective next larger and its respective smaller iterations at its tips. The sequence of progressively smaller nested tetrahedral frames converge towards the center of the overall volume. Each successive frame is a scaled-down version of the next larger, outer frame and remains centered within the same coordinate system. The layers decrease uniformly in scale toward the center, producing a recursive, stepped arrangement. When viewing the shape along one of its diagonals or tip axes, the nested layers appear as a nested series of concentric equilateral triangular frames, each connected to its next larger and next smaller one at its tips. The openings become progressively smaller in length, but not in width, toward the center of the overall shape as they correspond to smaller nested tetrahedral layers. The nested tetrahedral layers are joined together at regular intervals, the connecting points preserving continuity of the shape's entire internal volume, producing a single connected body with no detached components. The thickness or girth/width of each layer's gaps and also its frame's girders remains constant throughout the shape. The object is a single connected body containing numerous through-openings. The geometry exhibits tetrahedral symmetry inherited from the parent tetrahedron. It exhibits both rotational planar symmetry. There are also self-similar scaling relationships between successive nested layers. The structure can be described as a connected tetrahedral lattice generated by a sequence of concentric, scaled tetrahedral frames linked together into a single manifold while preserving the overall tetrahedral envelope.
