Face Mask with standard filter thread attachment, covid19 mask · 模型 63393
I saw that this face mask model was popular on GrabCad so I created an replaceable attachment as to enable its users to use standard EUROfilters used on comercial gas masks with the standard knuckle thread (round thread) rd40x1/7" EN 148-1 (rd40x1/6") as per DIN 405. The attachment has 2 parts that can be 3D printed, the first one is the insert that has a grove cut into it around its borders so you can use silicone or glue to make a airtight seal with the mask, and the second part is the nut that holds the insert secure to the mask, also the nut has grooves cut into as to tighten it easier. The mask model is not my, I just used to create this attachment for it and to contribute to this global effort.
