Fancy KTWD ROV · 模型 257766
We got our funding cut this year, so we couldn't do this particular ROV kit. I've been working on this since May of 2016, and it works. Tank tested and everything. Be forwarned of the following bits, though: 1) program the boards *before* you connect the motors 2) Coat the boards through-holes (for the motor electrical tabs) with fingernail polish, or you'll have a rapide dendritic growth problem (unless you get the slots plated, too 3) the build cost for 30 vehicles *should* be about $35 per vehilce (that's about $1000 USD) - see the "costs.xlsx" spreadsheet for more info. 4) All plastic parts can be printed on a 3D printer - in fact, that's how I made them (dang, but molds are expensive!) 5) The video has the vertical thruster disabled. The code all works, though, and has been tested (in water and out), so all's good 6) be very careful mounting the motor clips - make sure the forward thrusters are turned in a bit - that is, prop shafts pointing *towards* the vehicle centerline. Otherwise there could be an interference problem. 7) Not in the drawings, but I used some 1/8 ID Tygon tubing for the fit between the props and the motor shafts. 8) the micorontroller (used topside and subsea) are Atmel ATTiny 441 devices. You need a programmer. Software was developed in Atmel Visual Studio 6.1 9) the circuit boards are part of the structural integrity of the toy. 10) the Gerber files (to have PCBs manufactured) are in hte *.zip files under "electrical" 11) I use a reflow oven to do the fine-pitch soldering on the boards. 12) To size the float, I tried to keep track of everything's volume & weight in the file "BouyancyRegister.xlsx" 13) For best results, vapor treat the floats, as they will slightly weep while at "depth"
