Title: Simple Fat Bike Frame Design for MTB – A Personal Project Sharing It’s been a while since I was active in this community, and now that I have a bit of free time, I’d like to share something again. This is a fairly simple project—I’ve been interested in building a fat bike MTB, and I’ve put some serious thought into this frame design. If you’re planning to build a basic fat bike frame, this design might be a helpful reference. I used steel tubing that is commonly available and easy to source in most markets. For key parts of the frame—such as the BB standard, headtube, brake mount, RD hanger, and general spacing—I referred to the standards in the SHIMANO Products Technical Information 2019-2020 manual. Although it’s an older version, the information is still highly relevant today. Some other components were sourced from models shared by other talented members of this community. While I can’t fully guarantee the accuracy of those parts, I’ve used them mostly for visualization purposes to represent a complete bike. I truly appreciate the hard work of the creators who made such detailed and excellent parts. Of course, this design is not perfect and may contain several inaccuracies. I'm sharing it here not only to give back to the community but also to open up a discussion. If you have feedback or suggestions, I’d be very happy to hear them in the comments.
