I replicated the R7 gearbox by measuring the one I had available as best I could. Some measurements were hard to get so it is not 100% correct. With that being said, it should be functionally correct. The gears were replicated using the gear generator in Fusion 360 and by using metric gearing standards instead of imperial (Not sure which was used but the metric gears in the design is extremely close to the measured values). The idea of doing the design is to 3D print replacement gears if they do fail. The gear designs can still be optimized for 3D printing at a later stage.
