Introduction Updated. Disclaimer: All other files included as parts of the entire model belongs to the owners of their models, such as the seats, fuel tank, and other models I have included. The owners are too many to mention, or lost in translation. As per email request, and with a bigger bandwidth, I have uploaded all the files in my cloud drive. This is an Auto gyro that I recently modeled in Autodesk Inventor 2017. It is designed to transport four good looking people from point A to point B while strolling the skies. An auto gyro flies faster than a helicopter, and slower than an airplane. This design will carry an extra load due to the larger rotor blade and form. It is powered by a Honda B series supercharged engine driving a slow turner propeller. I designed this in such a way that almost all materials can be purchased at your local hardware depot, except for the Carbon Fiber. The Carbon fiber mold can be fabricated at your local CNC shop. Yo may use aluminum or wood to form the carbon fiber parts made by your local CNC shop. The instruments can be bought from 2nd hand aircraft parts, and the Honda engine from surplus garage or automobile junkyard, with a little more tinkering to do on the engine. The drive prop is a bit more of a challenge, but laminated carbon fiber on aluminum would be the best option. The rotor blades are carbon fiber "wings" on titanium spars. This is an unfinished project, and I would like to have feedback based on the photos uploaded. There are parts that I think doesn't look right, or maybe it's just me. I would like to learn more on simulating flexible models such as hose, and control cables in Solidworks and Inventor. In Keyshot, I would like to focus on material graph (screenshots included) and how to make realistic imperfections on materials. As we all know, a perfect material is unrealistic. Next my next focus will be on creating real world environments (HDR/HDRi,EXR etc, etc). Any suggestions, opinions, and violent reactions are welcome. Your feedback, if it sounds great, no matter how weird will be included in the final design package.
