This project presents a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation of a speedboat model using SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation. The objective of this analysis is to study the fluid flow behavior around the hull and evaluate pressure distribution, velocity patterns, and wake formation. The simulation uses an external flow domain with water as the working fluid. Flow trajectories (streamlines) are visualized to represent the direction and characteristics of the fluid movement around the boat. The contour plot shows pressure distribution, where high-pressure regions (red) are concentrated at the bow due to direct fluid impact, while lower pressure areas (green to blue) appear along the sides and wake region behind the boat. From the results, it can be observed that the streamlined hull design helps reduce flow separation, although turbulence and wake formation are still visible at the rear section. These effects are important for evaluating drag force and overall hydrodynamic performance.
