A 19 inch rack mount adapter for a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen. 2U tall. Simply import the .step file into your favorite slicer, split it into parts, and delete the parts which are not 3D-printed (most modern slicers support .step files and splitting into objects). A .dxf file has been provided in case you want to lasercut the front plate. A 2D-drawing is also present if you want to make it by hand. Otherwise it can be 3D-printed in two pieces on most printers. I made this with a lasercut front plate in matte black acrylic, but any other manufacturing method will do. The 3D-printed parts are glued together and glued onto the front plate, making the assembly quite rigid. Because the 3D printed plastic was quite slippery, I added a strip of duct tape to the inside surface opposite the clamp, and this added enough friction to secure the Focusrite. The retainer simply slips onto the rear of the assembly after the Focusrite is inserted, and when tightening the clamp, the center piece flexes outwards and clamps upon the inside surfaces of the retainer. I offer no garantuee that the 4th gen 2i2 will fit, but if it has the same outer dimensions, I don't see why not.
