Clear acrylic food box with gummy silicone lid. I used this to house an Arduino project! I used a flat piece of aluminum to hold the lid down and then mounted the arduino up into the acrylic. Food box is: www.thecontainerstore.com "Large Tab Box Blue" 2-5/8" x 4-1/4" x 1-3/4" h Item# 10060604 The bottom is not a perfect window surface, but is great for allowing Adafruit 1.8" TFT shield to interact with tool operator. There is a dot in the center of the box bottom from injection point and raised lettering offset to one side (where I drilled to put the joystick button). The acrylic was able to be machined in a vertical milling machine with 3000 rpm shaft speed, small 3/32" 4 flute endmill, and very shallow 0.004" cuts using knee of the table to change height. Acrylic came off like powder and did not clog tool or crack the box. For opening up holes, I used a "unibit" to get to 12mm. Then I would use 1/4" endmill for slotting. All still at 3000 rpm and very careful progress on feed rates.
