Tools to hold camshafts and crankshaft at TDC during service of harmonic balancer or other timing components. Duplicates function of tools seen/sold online - except cam positioner can be fixed to head with three 6mm fasteners and tool does not require removal of adjacent components (at least on my engine). Pictured on 2003 Mazda 6i 2.3L - these likely fit other vehicles/models similarly cursed with this POS engine. Valve cover face was scanned for accurate mounting hole placement. Cam positioner cut on CNC plasma from 2 pieces of steel that totaled required 5mm thickness. Crank positioner turned on a drill press from a 10x1.5x60mm bolt. Always replace the harmonic balancer bolt (mine required Dorman 926-885) and "diamond" crush washer each time it is removed. Don't torque cam or crank bolts against these tools - you will damage or break the cast iron camshafts or the tools will bend and the cam timing will not be correct. As soon as vehicle is fixed sell if for whatever you can get and don't look back. Seriously, WTF were they thinking when they didn't key these three shafts???
