four in line cylinder engine · 模型 48929
The engine consists of a multi-cylinder piston mechanism designed to convert reciprocating motion into rotational motion. At the top of the assembly, several pistons are arranged in line within their cylinders. These pistons move up and down during the engine’s operation as a result of the combustion process. Each piston is connected to a connecting rod, which serves as the link between the piston and the crankshaft. The connecting rods transfer the linear motion produced by the pistons to the rotating component of the engine. At the bottom of the assembly is the crankshaft. The crankshaft contains offset crank journals where the connecting rods are attached. As the pistons move vertically, the connecting rods push and pull on the crankshaft, causing it to rotate. This rotation is what ultimately produces mechanical power that can be used to drive a machine or vehicle. Together, the pistons, connecting rods, and crankshaft form the core mechanism of the engine, allowing it to transform the energy generated during combustion into continuous rotational motion.
