Hey everyone! I wanted to play around with the new FreeCAD v1.1 and modeled this little mechanical component as a benchmark. It’s got some internal grooves, polar patterns, and chamfers to see how the software handles parametric design. With the graphics settings cranked up and lightning enabled, it looks quite sharp! However, the geometric engine struggles a bit and lags during heavy circular patterning, to be honest. You can dowload freecad for free :) https://www.freecad.org/downloads.php?lang=en
