Aluminum fuel tank for a home made motorized canoe (lofted on Gheenoe lines). Fabricated in my shop from ASTM 5052-H32 and ASTM 6061-T6 aluminum. The tank was the first time that I have welded aluminum. Fuel tank sits on parallel rails in the canoe and has a quick release spring pin mechanism to allow removal from the boat to fill fuel tank. Vent has a check valve.
