Fuenfknopfturm Kaufbeuren · 模型 92128
The 'Fünfknopfturm' in Kaufbeuren is a defensive tower in the city wall of Kaufbeuren and at the same time the symbol of the city. The tower, built in 1420, is a typical Gothic tower that served as the seat of the town's fire watch. From the hill, the old town could be overlooked and the population could be warned by a bell in the tower at the first signs of fire or other danger.
