In this tutorial, we will create a complex funnel shape using the Surface Sweep command in SolidWorks. We will use only 2D sketches and additional planes – no 3D sketches! This method provides a flexible and parametric approach for organic transitional parts. We will use a total of 5 sketches, 2 additional planes, Surface Sweep, Trim Surface, and Thicken features. Prerequisites: Basic sketching and surface knowledge in SolidWorks.
