This is a simple human powered fan that is thin enough to fit in your pocket and works by rotating the dial to spin the fan blade at a 10:1 gear ratio. The fan casing is in one piece and encases the gears which are inseparable from the back of the casing via pins. All of the moving parts have enough clearance for movement. Video of the rotation is in the "VIDEO" folder.
