My design solves a huge problem in identifying the common Gatorade bottle. Countless times I have gone home with the wrong bottle, or one of my teammates having my bottle. Specifically in sports like football or lacrosse where players use helmets, the bottles offer an easy way to drink water, and as a result they are so common. The bottle cap is a permanent solution to identify the bottles without the need for other temporary options. Tape comes off and leaves the bottle sticky, and marker washes off. The cap was designed to fit neatly on the top of the most generic Gatorade bottle. After two months of testing, the 3D bottle cap has not come of once, except for the occasions it is taken of to wash the bottle. It goes on and off easily with a simple twist and if printed again will be a darker color in order to be in contrast with bottle. The cap was made in auto desk inventor and was refined to be ergonomic and simple as possible. Overall, it is a simple and well designed solution to a big problem.
