My design is made of two parts, the the lampshade and a base that light bulb can be attached too, so that it will be able to attached a definite lampshades, while removing the need to attaching and securing the lampshade to the light fixture every time there is a definite lampshade. It also makes it easier to install and remove the light bulb. I chose the hexagon because of it six sides and easily oriented so that their would be No flat surface facing up or down, to make easier to 3d print.
