Generic supercharged V8 engine that presents the basic engine architecture. The component geometries are approximate, as the goal of this project is to present the functional principle of the internal combustion engine. Includes SolidWorks 2020, ACIS and Parasolid formats. If you require any other format, feel free to contact me. The SolidWorks file has belt features and cam/gear constraints, so that you can animate the whole assembly (see attached video) Components: Engine block Crankshaft with pulley, journal bearings and caps Conrods and pistons (with piston rings) 4 Camshafts and 24 Poppet valves Spark plugs and ignition coils Cylinder heads and head covers Long tubular exhaust manifolds Inlet manifold Injectors and fuel rails Timing belt Timing cover Addons: water pump, power steering pump and alternator Timing cover and serpentine belt with idle pulleys and belt tensioner Twin-screw supercharger Throttle Oil pan
