Germicidal Coil Mask Canister Module · 模型 45443
Just playing around with an idea, developing a type of germicidal mask. It's a device to photodeactivate microorganisms in the air. The concept is that the medium traverses the coil, getting irradiated by light it's entire journey. It has some 'baffles' at the ends to allow fluid flow while stopping light leakage(important for UV). The device uses off the shelf glass tubing from mcmaster. The remainder of components need to be machined or printed. The housing has ID threads to allow for mounting, ducting, light baffles, filter discs, check valves, diaphragms, etc etc. You could run these modules in various configurations. For example, inlet and outlet canisters. Or run dual inlet for extra wearer protection. Or double output "halitosis mode". Needs some further development to balance necessary exposure levels (20j/m2 254nm for influenza, for example) against airflow and potential o3 exposure. Contact me if you want to get involved!
