A reticulated, bilaterally symmetric, multi-genus skeletal shell abstract art shape exhibiting predominantly negative space enveloped within a stadium-of-revolution encasing volume, with a hierarchical inner–outer nested lattice and smooth multi-valent nodes. The bounding form is a prolate-ish stadium solid (a "discorectangle" of revolution), essentially an ellipsoid with flattened, rounded ends, elongated along one horizontal axis. It is significantly flatter vertically than it is wide or deep, giving it a low-profile dome-like silhouette when viewed from the side. The object exhibits bilateral symmetry about a vertical plane along its long axis. There are hints of a second bilateral symmetry about the transverse vertical plane as well, making it approximately dihedrally symmetric (2-fold rotational symmetry about the vertical axis). What would have been the solid surface of the shape has been replaced entirely by a skeletal lattice of curved ribbon-like struts. These struts are not straight; they follow geodesic-like curves across the surface of the implied envelope. The result is a open, reticulated shell — topologically more like a network of intersecting closed curves on a surface than a solid body. The interior structure exhibits struts that pass through the interior volume and reconnect on the opposite face, which is characteristic of a toroidal or multi-handled topology rather than a simple sphere. The struts themselves have a lens-shaped or flattened rectangular cross-section (wide relative to their thickness), oriented so their wider face is tangent to the implied enclosing surface. The shape is derived from a bidimensional geometric profile. That profile is an equilateral triangular frame with three circular profiles, each centered at one of the tips of the triangular frame. The circular profiles are all of the same radius and are tangent to each other. A fourth, larger circular profile circumscribes the three smaller circular profiles, being externally tangent to them. The way this three dimensional shape is derived from the bi dimensional profile described above is by way of creating two rotational volumetric shapes, by rotating the profile around each of two external axes of rotation. and then intersecting the resulting two rotational shapes with each other and, finally, cutting the resulting intersectional volume shape in two symmetric halves by cutting it along its principal and largest plane of symmetry.
