A model of a special type of a self-made GLUE PRESS, mainly made of wood, that my father often used for building his wooden model airplanes, In the early 1950s. This device uses no screws for bringing up the smooth clamping force for balsa wooden components. An eccentrically pivoted lever is "The Solution To The Riddle". Two additional glued on pads, made of foam rubber, protect the sensitive surfaces of the clamping objects. In remembrance of Erich Gudrian, who was a pattern maker at "Farbwerke HOECHST", an enthusiastic worker for building RC-models of gliders and a friend of my father. He designed this simple tool, which I tried to redesign as exactly as possible. The model is available in following data formats: STEP-file (.stp) of the complete assembly and all native files (.prt) and (.asm), together in a (.zip)-folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
