General Description This year, Grabby makes an appearance holding on to the Golden Gear while it spins forward. Grabby is at the center of it all – just like the members of GrabCAD.com; because without your participation and dedication in sharing all things engineering, this site wouldn’t be successful. As a recipient of the Golden Gear Award, take pride in how successful your upload has become and the recognition you have received. Grabby is proud of your accomplishment and developed this award with parts from the GrabCAD supply closet. Inspirational words have been added to the back of the Award, as well as another appearance of a sticker on the back of Grabby. Design Overview I created this year’s Grabby with a much stronger structure than my last year’s submission. Each element is tied to the central gear making it less likely to break during shipping and easier printing. Scale: 4.0 X 4.0 X 3.2 Material: Multicolor (Sandstone) Cost: $97.77 As a side note, I submitted this design to another 3D printing supplier and was able to get it nearly an inch larger in height for about $15 less.
